a: Jolly jaw dropping journeyman. Vocal adventurer, multi-instrumentalist
and songwriter. Ballads, beatbox and beyond. Eclectic, ebullient
and even educational. Mal combines a world of vocal techniques and
writing styles with guitar, mbira, slidetrumpet, chromatic harmonica,
a loop recorder and theaudience.

October 2008, James Blundell will release his 10th album ‘Portrait
of a Man’. The follow-up to the ARIA, APRA & Golden Guitar
nominated ‘Ring Around The Moon’ this latest offering
is set to highlight James’ immense talents as a singer-songwriter
in a stripped back, mainly acoustic mode. 20 years after releasing
his debut James will set out on the road in late 2008 into 2009
for a series of intimate, acoustic performances at a number of hand-picked
venues around the nation.
