Kathy Townsend plays digital piano, guitar, piano accordion & sings. She has been musical director & pianist for theatre productions. An environmentalist, Kathy was first attracted to Dave’s original music for its depth of insight into environmental issues.

Dave Clark plays banjo, guitar, concertina, harmonica and sings. He has worked as
a solo artist and also with many bands. He presents concerts in kindergartens and
schools, has produced 6 albums and toured widely throughout Australia and overseas.
 

Dave Clark, Kathy Townsend, Philip Taylor and Chris Rawlinson appear together as Rum & Raspberry playing Australian bush music, Celtic & originals. They have appeared at many Festivals in Australia including C J Dennis Festivals, The Cornish Festival, State Folk Festivals at Victor Harbor and The National Folk Festival in Canberra. They play for weddings, bush dances and a variety of other functions.

Chris Rawlinson, a computer programmer during the day, plays violin in styles ranging from Classical and Old Time to Celtic including jigs and reels. He sings in a choir and adds vocal harmonies to Rum & Raspberry. Chris is also and environmentalist working with the Conservation Council.

Philip Taylor plays the Irish low whistles and electric bass and sings mean choruses. He is a restorer of fine furniture & has built his own unique country home.

Rum 'n Raspberry is headed by modern - day troubadour Dave Clark, together with songbird Kathy Townsend Clark, Philip Taylor on haunting whistles, flute & electric bass, & Chris Rawlinson, a consummate classical violinist who can masquerade effortlessly as a Celtic fiddler.
